Wednesday
we all focused on preparing for FRC season and got straight to work. Everyone was quite busy today but we did have a longer work day as club ended at 6 pm. We need to prepare all the skills, materials, and finances to complete FRC and the club is incredibly grateful for all the club members effort in making that possible.
Electrical
looked through wiring rates to see what was right for the club. They made sure to look through connection makers for electrical work and planned organization strategies. It’s very important for electrical to stay organized as doing so keeps people safe and work efficient.
Mechanical
worked on CAD to make a frame for the robot, looked at hoppers, and organized the closet. Specifically, they cleaned up the black box that had all the mechanical items we had sorted out towards the beginning of club. They searched for any other misplaced mechanical items and sorted them thoroughly so we don’t waste money on things we already have given our already tight budget.
Programming
downloaded WPILib onto their device with GitHub SSH. They used the downloaded material to code FIRST robots. The website helps our team get GitHub into the computer so that they can put code into the robot.
Media
worked on the website and drew the mascot. While we have completed designs, its important to have a wide variety of design choices in case their is a specific design we wish to fall back on. We worked on the newsletter in the website so that parents and judges can get a sense of what we are currently and have previously done.
